Lionsgate have released two new images from the much discussed Oliver Stone biopic of U.S. President George W. Bush which stars Josh Brolin in the controversial lead role.
The first image is I believe our debut look (in the background) of Noah Wyle, who is playing Don Evans – the 34th U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
One of the most exciting actors of the last 18 months – Brolin plays the much maligned President George W. Bush, Elizabeth Banks his wife Laura, James Cromwell & Ellen Burstyn (George Bush Snr. & Barbara Bush respectively) his parents.
Supporting gigs come from Ioan Grufford (Tony Blair), Richard Dreyfuss (Dick Cheney), Thandie Newton (Condoleezza Rice), Jeffrey Wright (Colin Powell), Toby Jones (Karl Rove) and Rob Corddry (Ari Fleischer). and many more.
W. opens on October 17th 2008.

The baseball jacket photo is brilliant. Brolin looks bang-on for this role.
As much as I am maligned over politics these days, this movie looks top notch. I had now idea I would ve this interested in W.’s life!
