Pixar are still keeping the big reveals for their next movie UP a secret, teasing us with mentions of “lost world’s” and only showing us the first act for their next movie. It’s something that has become a working practice for the studio and worked very well with WALL*E for much of that movie’s early trailers and t.v. spots.
I’m getting more and more curious by every trailer…
Official plot summary…
Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life. “Up” takes audiences on a thrilling journey where the unlikely pair encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains and jungle creatures.
UP is released on May 29th 2009 (U.S.) and July 17th 2009 (U.K.) from the creators of MONSTER’S INC.

That shot from the apartment looking out as the balloons pass by, the colors streaming across the walls, is just a brilliant, beautiful shot. Wow … Pixar never stops impressing.
