New poster for THE DARK KNIGHT

The posters for The Dark Knight so far have been inventive (that Joker behind the glass is still by far my favourite) but this latest one is just weird as hell.

There’s too much blue, Batman is made out to look like a bad guy terrorist (which… ah I just can’t say it without spoilers but if you get it from that, you know about it already) and the very bottom of the poster is just neglectful waste.

I do like the colour blue but I’m not a fan of making your poster completely one colour because it gets very old very quickly. The same happened to the gold Batman Begins posters.

Usually things to do with this movie all come at once and in the same place this poster was found was the message “four days”. Which should finally be the second trailer.

This poster sucks. It looks fake. Clearly they had some young intern mock this up. I dare say I could have done a better job if supplied with the necessary imagery. It just looks odd, and THE DARK KNIGHT font is completely out of proportion.

Did they also not consider that the bat symbol burning in the side of a building could kinda be taken as looking like an aeroplane…

I’m not a graphic designer so I won’t say anything about the looks of the poster … I just like it because of the message it brings … That poster confirms that this Batman is a badass and not your ultra-moralistic Superman or even your friendly neighbor Spidey … just fucking badass!!!!

Yea, I don’t like this shot of batman for some reason. But the link Lencho provided is awesome! That one works far better than this batman one.

I think it works better with Joker instead of Batman. As cool looking as the poster is, it makes Batman look like the bad guy to me.
