New Iron Monger shots from IRON MAN!

Iron Man opens in just five weeks time and I have yet to see a trailer for the movie in U.K. cinema’s.

Is this the same for everyone else? Having said that, I’ve yet to see The Dark Knight trailer in the U.K too.

I remember back in 2005, the trailers for the big summer movies were frikkin’ everywhere, all the way back to December. There’s been nothing like that this time around in this country.

Though I have seen a notable presence for Jon Favreau’s film for standee’s and posters in my local cineplex, the trailer has been strangely absent.

Take a look at these new shots of the Iron Monger from Iron Man and let me know if you have spotted the trailer yet?

Iron monger better have something good in his aresenal because it just looks like the mach 3 armor v.s. a mach 1.5 armor.

I’ve seen it twice in my local Vue cinema in Leeds, and once at Cineworld Didsbury, Manchester. It’s been on TV a bit as well, they showed the full length trailer during a football match on Five recently, I assume they’ve done it other times too but that was the only occasion I caught it.

No posters or anything yet, though. Which, given the 100’s of titles I have seen promoted across the London Underground network the past few days, is surprising to say the least.

London Underground works on a much more “IN THEATRES NOW” basis. They never really look too far ahead.

Well I’m glad to hear it’s playing out there. Maybe it’s because all I’m seeing right now are Rom-Com’s and Horror’s… not the usual market for a Marvel movie.
