Kingdom of Heaven co-stars Orlando Bloom and Liam Neeson will topline the currently untitled movie adaptation of Bill Carter’s memoirs Fools Rush In, based on his life as an aid worker in Sarajevo during the bitter Balkans war siege that lasted 43 months.
Academy Award winner Javier Bardem is in talks for a supporting role. Established Brazilian director Andrucha Waddington will make his English language film-making debut.
“I read the script, and the very human story and the very core of this film spoke to me very clearly,” Bloom told reporters in Sarajevo. “This is a departure from the very big Hollywood productions.”
The film should begin lensing before the end of the year, with the full backing and support of the major of Sarajevo.

Any film that has Orlando Bloom is on for a downer the minute he signs the contract. He’s possibly the worst actor in Hollywood around. He forces his lines out, scrunches his eyebrows together and sounds the same in any film he does. The only film he was good at was LOTR, although he does get on my nerves by the final movie. Get rid of him!!!!
