I’ve yet to be introduced to the wonderful world of Hayao Miyazaki’s japenese animation but I’ve heard nothing but great praise from everybody I have spoken to that has seen his movies.
Variety are reporting that Miyazaki is working on a new animated feature, which already has a release date of summer 2008.
Miyazaki’s 2001 movie Spirited Away currently holds the record for the highest grossing movie ever in Japan and his last movie Howl’s Moving Castle made a whopping $170 million in that country alone.
I really should get round to watching these flicks, are they as good as everyone makes them out to be?
