Milla Jovovich will lead the Gold Circle Films thriller The 4th Kind which is being eyed for a late June start date.
Olatunde Osunsanmi will helm the script from the screenplay he wrote. It will mark the directorial debut of the former assistant helmer to Joe Carnahan…
…although project details are being kept under wraps, it is described as a fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover-up.
Jovovich plays a woman investigating the disappearances in the town.
Maybe it was the Zombies?
Every movie that Jovovich has lead since The Fifth Element that doesn’t have the word Resident Evil in the title has been a flop. She says she is done with that franchise but if her losing streak outside of it continues – it won’t be long until she comes crawling back.
