Post jail-bird Michelle Rodriguez has landed her first part since leaving prison. She will reprise her role of Letty in The Fast and The Furious 4, adding to what has become a massive reunion of the stars from the original movie.

Rodriguez joins Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster who burst onto the scene seven years ago with the original car porn action movie. Only Paul Walker has starred in another movie in the franchise, the lazy titled 2 Fast 2 Furious - the other three are returning to the series for the first time.

In the anticipated film, Brian (Walker) and Dominic (Diesel) team up to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga. Brian – and ultimately Dominic – wins a place on the criminal’s team, where he and his flashy Nissan plan to catch the man red-handed.

Anticipated? Not by me. Though the fact this week they cast a former Miss. Israeli who only just missed out on the Bond girl role for The Quantum of Solace doesn’t exactly hurt.

The currently untitled Fast and the Furious 4 is scheduled to be released next June from the director (Justin Lin) and writer (Chris Morgan) of the last movie in the series Fast and the Furious: Tokoyo Drift.
