Melissa George is finding her niche in the horror/thriller genre. The Hollywood Reporter say the TURISTAS and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT actress is in final talks to star in TRIANGLE, a movie revolving around the passengers of a yachting trip in the Atlantic Ocean who get struck my mysterious weather conditions in the middle of the Bermuda triangle.

Well what did they expect?

George will play a women with a mental disorder who relives the harrowing experience through each of her three personalities. Is George strong enough to make us believe she is playing three characters? I can’t say that she’s done anything that has flawed me over yet, and she’s certainly not an actress I would pay my money and get off my ass to see in the theatre for her name alone.

Christopher Smith is directing the movie as his follow-up to the popular cult British horror SEVERANCE and the low budget CREEP. He will begin shooting in Australia this April and it will be distributed by Icon Entertainment.
