Warner Bros. are making a movie about Marvin the Martian!
Sadly, the movie will be packaged as a Christmas release with the gimmick finds Marvin trapped in a gift box when he attempts to destroy Earth. It will be live action blended with CGI and will be aimed at the very young age group of movie-goers.
The $359 million grossing worldwide audience of Alvin and the Chipmunks for example.
Marvin the Martian was created by Chuck Jones and he made his first appearance in a Looney Tunes cartoon way back in 1948. The character never got old or at least he never did when I was younger, his plot was almost always to blow up Earth, only to be foiled by Bugs Bunny.
It is a shame because I think if they were smart about this they could have come up with something that would be accessible to kids and have something their for adults too, but sadly the poor mum’s and dad’s who have to see this crap will be tortured for two hours.

wow… I have been a big fan of marvin’s 4 a long time and im speechless on tha fact that they chose him. I mean would this be his movie or would this be another looney toon movie or wiould they just make appearances? well watever tha case im gonna see it cuz….. its Marvin the Martian
