Maggie Grace gets Taken

maggie_grace.jpgMaggie Grace has signed on to play Liam Neeson’s daughter in Taken.

You may remember last month we spoke about the flick, as the delay of Steven Spielberg’s Abraham Lincoln biopic (because of Indiana Jones IV) has allowed Neeson to sign up for other roles.

Here is the plot again, from Cinema Blend

“In Taken, Nesson is an ex-soldier out to rescue a daughter kidnapped by slavers while traveling in Europe. With the clock ticking, he has to track her down before she’s lost forever”.

Like I said before, the movie doesn’t excite me in any way, shape or form. The kidnapping of a family member (especially a daughter) who the good guy must try and rescue is the most over-used plot in the history of cinema.

Talented cast though.

Shooting is expected to begin this month in Paris, with Pierre Morel helming.
