The first official casting for the upcoming adaptation of the popular Japanese video game TEKKEN has been announced.
Luke Goss (HELLBOY II, BLADE II) will play Steve Fox, who in the game is a fictional English boxer who has no memory of his past or the origin of the scar on his arm. The character was first introduced in the fourth Tekken game.
According to Coming Soon, the movie will play out a sci-fi plot set in the near future, where a rebel rises up against the Tekken Corp. to win freedom for his people.
We heard last month names like Andy Serkis, Sienna Guillory, Chiaki Kuriyama and Takeshi Kaneshiro on what was supposedly a casting sheet for this movie but we’ve had no confirmation on that just yet. Luke Goss’ name was not on that sheet, if that means anything.
TEKKEN has been written by Alan B. McElroy and will be directed by Dwight Little, a duo who in the past have brought us HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS and RAPID FIRE. Michael Colleary has script credit. He previously co-wrote FACE/OFF.

TEKKEN MOVIE SHOULD START FROM BEGINNING.
Luke Goss playing Steve Fox in the film should be left out
and the film should from the beginning starting the plot from Tekken 2.Michael Colleary and Alan McElroy had f**ked
up the script and turning the film into a cheesy scifi tale.
I’m not very happy with the director Dwight Little setting the things up so I don’t trust anybody, all Tekken fans won’t like the iedas on this project,so of them like it.
Steve Fox can star in the Tekken sequel alone with Jin Kazama and other Tekken fighters.
I’m not happy with this movie project.
Thank You.
