Lindsay Lohan will star in Labor Pains, a rom-com which begins shooting on Monday and has been rescued by Nu Image/Millennium Films after the project which was originally under Capitol Films banner, was in real danger after a financial meltdown at that studio which twiced stop production on the Jessica Biel/Jake Gyllenhaal comedy Nailed.
Lara Shapiro will make her directorial debut on the project…
The romantic comedy stars Lindsay Lohan as an assistant, working in a stuffy publishing house, who pretends to be pregnant in a desperate attempt to keep her nasty boss from firing her.
And because Nu Image/Millennium is classed as an “Indie” film then the project will not be halted by any possible strike according to Variety.
Now call me crude, but isn’t it impossible for Lohan to get pregnant because isn’t she a lesbian these days? How could her boss not see through that rouse?

What’s she got to do to be finished in Hollywood, kill a family of three? It’s a damned shame that ANYBODY would allow her to do a cameo as the cleaning lady much less a starring role.
Guess Nu Image (who has yet to produce a bonafinde “hit” BTW) hasn’t quite pissed away all of their venture capitalists’ investors money yet.
This piece of sh*t oughta do it.
