Lindsay Lohan: “I am Innocent” & how does this effect her new movie?

Lindsay Lohan has spoken out about her DUI offence which saw her arrested earlier this week, insisting she is innocent. The part-time actress, full time party going alcoholic (will i get sued for saying that?) was pulled over by the police in California and was found intoxicated and in possession of drugs but she didn’t stay long in jail as she was bailed out for $25,000.

In an email to Access Hollywood, Lohan writes, “I am innocent… did not do drugs they’re not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin’s mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy.”

Lohan has a court date of August 24th set where she will have to answer the DUI charges and also a separate incident which occured in May. Then she is expected to go back to rehab and once again try and sort her life out.

An interesting point to make is that Lohan’s latest film, the horror flick (which will probably be her last film for a long time) I Know Who Killed Me opens this weekend and the actress has been unable to do any press interviews to hype the film and now her latest insane antics might put audiences off the movie.

It happened to Tom Cruise and it certainly happened to Russell Crowe with Cinderella Man. Personal lives do effect audiences reaction to actors and they play a huge part in the ‘average joe’ deciding on whether they want to see a flick or not.

I really can’t see how I Know Who Killed Me will benefit from all this… and Lohan may have cost TriStar some millions of dollars. I’m sure that’s the last thing that’s worrying Lohan at the moment but the studio have to be more than a little pissed.

First of all, it’s utter bullsh*t that she’s able to get bailed out. You know damn well her celebrity’s the only reason that crap’s even happening. And let’s stop asking if her career will ever “recover.” It’s not like she was turning in stellar work before now. Mean Girls? Now there’s a modern movie classic.
Lindsay’s finished, I’m GLEEFUL to say! And don’t compare her to Robert Downey jr. RDJ had exceptional talent. He’s a true artist. Lindsay is just a tween whose mother had enough cash on hand to get her little girl into a music studio to warble on a few tracks, then she reached puberty and she started trying to market herself to the pedophile creeps who drool over her. lindsay was invented, not discovered, same as Britney, Christina and those Simpson sluts. Paris made her own fame, though I think the way she did it proved how bi-polar and unstable she is. Can’t wait to see how she destroys her own life.
Now that Lindsay’s self-destructed it’s time for the next white-bread ingenue with no talent but a cute face to creep onto the stage. It was way past time for a fresh, new face anyway. Lindsay is a post-script now. Thank God.

I sincerely hope you’re right Jaysmack. Lindsay Lohan’s done, I want her to be done. I’m sick and tired of seeing her get stoned and drunk and partying in paparazzi pictures…and acting like its no big deal. part of her life. She’s become worse than Paris Hilton in a way..she’s the biggest paparazzi whore. She deserves to go to jail for as long as possible so she can rethink her pathetic life. I hope they change the movie’s title to “I know who killed my career!” I sincerely hope she crawls up a goblin’s crusty ass and stays there for the rest of her existence…

As far as I’m concerned, they should have let her rot in jail. She’s been given too many free passes as it is.
