Adam Sandler’s next comedy has landed a female lead who is slightly more interesting than the kind of actress he usually gets lumped with. Variety say that WAITRESS star Keri Russell has signed on to play the love interest in BEDTIME STORIES, Sandler’s movie for Walt Disney which is basically a NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM rip-off.
Sandler tells his niece and nephew bedtime stories and they all begin to come true.
HAIRSPRAY director Adam Shankman is shooting this in February from a script by Matt Lopez, who contributed some parts of the animated feature THE WILD and also wrote another Disney movie in production WITCH MOUNTAIN.
Russell was very watchable in WAITRESS and the extra dimension to her acting that maybe Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Drew Barrymore don’t possess in this genre should see her through this movie.
For the movie Bedtime Stories does anyone know who has been cast for the role of the nephew?????
