David Zucker (SCARY MOVIE 4) has cast Kelsey Grammer for the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge in his latest Hollywood spoof AN AMERICAN CAROL. The movie will mark the second time Grammer has played the character following the 2004 NBC-Hallmark feature he starred in. .
The movie is set around July 4th where an unpatriotic guy is visited by three ghosts who take him on a journey which convinces this Scrooge to see America in a new light. Apparently “everyone from JFK to Ted Kennedy, Hitler and Mussolini get a ribbing“.
Production begins in 8 days time in L.A says Variety.
