Attended premier last night in the first 10 minutes thought “here we go” however the rapidly chaged to when can i leave. No strong performances and a story line which left me baffled and bored i,m afraid. Gutted as was really looking forward to this adaption of the novel,glad i was not alone in the stampede for the exits as the credits came up. If you really have nothing to do for 3 hours of your life go for it otherwise avoid at all costs, or at best wait untill it,s on DVD and only then when its reduced to a pound in Blockbuster.
Which is a pretty consistent review compared to the other early feedback we recieved towards the end of last week.
WATCHMEN opens in the U.K. and U.S. on March 6th and has probably had more negative reviews already than THE DARK KNIGHT had when every press outlet in town had given their two cents.

I did say that I thought Watchmen Would be a giant flop!!
I still say that I dont know who this material will appeal to other than the hardcore Geeks(and lets face it your average Geek hates all the comic book movies.)

Actually, their review gives me the impression that it doesn’t follow the storyline as closely as the other two reviewers led us to believe. I’m still going to go see it since Watchmen is my favorite comic/graphic novel. Then again, I’ve been wary of the movie ever since I heard about this current inception. My expectations are tempered to say the least. So I’ll probably find it enjoyable, but not amazing.
