Has Jessica Biel finally come to the conclusion of something that we have all known for years?

That she can’t act and her looks and her body are the only reason she gets roles and audiences flock to see her movies?

I mean just look at I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. She probably returned whatever large amount the studio threw at her and doubled it for appearing in her underwear and having Adam Sandler touch her breasts. In fact from the looks of the trailer (no of course I didn’t go and see it!) the whole movie just seemed to be an excuse to get Biel in revealing outfits and have Sandler lust over her.

It wasn’t about gay marriage at all, it was about seeing as much of Biel as possible.

USA Weekly are reporting that Biel will be going nude in her new movie Powder Blue which if they hint at it in the trailer, will probably add several million dollars to it’s box office gross alone. In the movie she plays a stripper who takes off her clothes to raise cash for her terminally ill son.

Biel “signed a contract that explicitly details the bare minimum fans will see – including shots of her breasts and butt,” a source told the magazine.

Well her going nude at least means I will probably catch up with the movie on DVD.

As we mentioned when we first talked about Powder Blue, Forest Whitaker will be playing a suicidal ex-priest, Jessica Biel as well as being a stripper is also the daugther of ex-con Ray Liotta, Patrick Swayze plays the owner of the strip club Biel works at and the other troubled character is a lovelorn mortician who is played by Eddie Redmayne.

Kris Kristofferson is also in the movie as the head of a corporate crime organization that seeks revenge on his co-workers.

Like all of the movies hunting for Academy recognition, all these stories inter-connect at the end (this flick is set on Christmas Eve) and allow us all to reflect on our own lives and our own worth in society. Timothy Linh Bui writes and directs what is his biggest film to date.
