“Jedi” scribe working on Clash of the Titans remake

clash.jpgA Clash of the Titans remake is a dumb idea, we all know it. However, there isn’t much point in bitching about it because it’s going ahead, and we all know you will be there opening weekend to see it!

Lawrence Kasdan who wrote the screenplays for Return of the Jedi, The Empire Strikes Back and Radiers of the Lost Ark will be penning the script for the movie, of which Travis Beacham wrote the first draft.

I’m guessing that the movie is going to be CGI rather than stop-motion which already puts the movie at a disadvantage. There’s just something about that style of film-making that gives Titans such a timeless quality, and the fact it was Ray Harryhausen’s last movie he worked on… means this movie should never be touched by anyone!

The hunt is on for a director.
