First it was Rosario Dawson who rejected the chance to be in Kevin Smith’s newest comedy Zack and Miri Mike a Porno and now comes word that Jason Bateman won’t be in the movie either.

AICN previously ran with the story that Bateman would be working with Smith for the first time which sounded like a great partnership to me but the actor himself has quashed the rumors whilst speaking to Slash Film at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“No, I read that, but no, Not at all,” Bateman told /Film. “I met him at a coffee bean and tea leaf in LA about three months ago, and that’s about as close to the accuracy of it.”

So just who will be making a Porno with Kevin Smith?

Well most definitely Jason Mewes. IMDB on their listings page for Zack and Miri have Seth Rogen listed… that would be pretty cool.
