Jason Bateman teams with Mike Judge for EXTRACT!

Here’s a combination which rolls off the tongue quite easily. Variety say in demand comedic actor Jason Bateman will team with Office Space & Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge for his next comedy which will be the first under his newly formed banner Ternion Prods - in part financed by Media Rights Capital.

The comedy is titled Extract and it comes from the screenwriters of Blades of Glory.

Penned by Judge, “Extract” explores what it’s like to be the boss when everything seems to be shifting around you.

Miramax will distribute in North America.

So Judge has gone from the small cog in the wheel that was Ron Livingston’s character in Office Space - to the slightly bigger cog in the wheel with a movie focusing on a boss. No word on if it will be set in an office.

Bateman and Judge seem to be just about the perfect combination. Don’t you agree?
