Jamie Foxx is no longer a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN in Frank Darabont’s next thriller!

Frank Darabont is readying his next movie and has almost secured his second lead according to The Hollywood Reporter.

They say Jamie Foxx is in final talks to join the psychological thriller LAW ABIDING CITIZEN as a victim of the legal system who is devastated to hear that the murderers guilty of killing his wife and daughter are to be set free on a plea bargin.

Gerard Butler plays the assistant D.A. who made the decision and is now under fire from Foxx, who is taking the law into his own hands with a vigilante plot.

Darabont has wrote the script alongside Kurt Wimmer (EQUILIBRIUM, THE RECRUIT) for the Independent shingle Film Department, and the big question of human morality looks like it will be on play again.

It’s Darabont’s favourite theme and can be seen in all four of his movies THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, THE GREEN MILE, THE MAJESTIC and THE MIST.

What a set of movies. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out!
