I so very nearly didn’t post this but the good folks over at Batman on Film keep hearing that a Batcycle will make an appearance in The Dark Knight, so this might be true.
Last night a scooper for AICN sent in the image below, which was soon after taken down from the site.

This would indicate that the bike was either a fake or real and asked by Warner Brothers to be taken down. Film Ick claim that AICN’s eventual explanation was that the bike above was fake and was actually a bike from a theme park ride.
It sure doesn’t look like it’s from a theme park ride.
Could this be the new Batcycle?
The logo on the side would probably indicate not, as it looks very similar to the Tim Burton Batman movies. It looks a little too slick and Burton-esque for Christopher Nolan’s world also.
Filming on The Dark Knight is now back in Chicago we are hearing, with “everyone” present.

I like it. It’s more a sled design rather than some sort of crotch-rocket. Sleek and simple. Maybe Nolan should give a gander anyways.
