Paramount have been doing some thinking and it looks like the success that was brought around from releasing Transformers early last Summer (if you remember, it was first released on a Monday) may be the blueprint for their comic book movie Iron Man which is now set to open day-and-date worldwide on on April 30th.

Which if your counting would be the Wednesday night, 2 days prior to it’s original Friday opening. Coming Soon says we can expect an official announcement soon.

That’s cool and it means Iron Man will be opening in April now, a month that was looking a bit BLAH for flicks.
