Slash Film have got one hell of a scoop here. They have stumbled across the six working titles that LucasFilm have proposed for Indiana Jones IV.
They are…
- Indiana Jones and the City of Gods
- Indiana Jones and the Destroyer of Worlds
- Indiana Jones and the Fourth Corner of the Earth
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
- Indiana Jones and the Lost City of Gold
- Indiana Jones and the Quest for the Covenant
Well apart from the working title we have all been running with (City of Gods) they are all rubbish and cheesy as hell. They sound like terrible B-Movie flicks and that last working title surely hints at something which has been much rumored across the web.
Indiana Jones and the City of Gods seems the best choice to me and I’m certain it’s the one they are going to use.

To be honest,I’m not wild about any of those titles. I love the schlocky B-movie name styles, but none of those really has the “it” factor I’d expect from Indiana Jones. “City of Gods” is probably the best, but it sounds too similar to Brazilian gangaster film “City of God” to be completely comfortable. “Quest for the Covenant” is also OK I suppose, and “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” sounds like the title of a Mastodon song.
