That seems to be the situation with Arnold Schwarzenegger and the new Terminator movie which should soon begin filming in less than two weeks time.
But I guess he is a busy guy being the Governor of California and all, and it’s not like he needs the money. Will Warner Bros. be able to accommodate him, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Like I always saw for these brand new restarts, reboots or new directions of franchises… don’t bother with cameo’s. You have a chance to go with a fresh start, now use it.
It’s time for the Terminator franchise to move on and not look at what went on in the past. McG has got himself a great young cast, now let’s see them build a new legacy that can last for the next ten years and get us back into the theatres time and time again on their merits alone.

I don’t think the property is strong enough to stand on it’s own. As of now Shawarzenegger is the property. I get that he’s 60, but I’d like to see his (younger) likeness used.
as Cameron himself admits, its an 80s concept, and so i cant see beyond the originals.
I really dont want to see Arnie and his old saggy tits doing this kind of stuff anymore, it’s bad enough with Stallone knocking out another tired old saggy titted Rambo film, these guys have got to give it a rest their day is over!
