The Hollywood Reporter also say that the E.R. actor will star…

Phifer (NBC’s “ER”) will play a stockbroker who takes his son on a weekend hunting trip in the woods. The teen is kidnapped, forcing the father to do the criminals’ bidding to save the boy’s life.

James L. White was the screenwriter on Ray and this is his first Hollywood deal since.

The series ran five issues before being released as a graphic novel this month.
