The sequel to the 2004 comic book hit Hellboy has finally found a distributer. Universal Pictures will bring Hellboy 2 to our screens in the summer of 2008.
Ron Pearlman and Selma Blair have both already signed on to return for the sequel, to again be written and directed by Guillermo del Tero.
I didn’t like the movie Hellboy, but I was impressed with the directing style of del Toro and at times the special effects were great. I’m extremly looking forward to del Toro’s next movie “Pan’s Labyrinth” to be released before the end of the year, but I will probably give Hellboy 2 a miss.
