Heath Ledger, the new Lon Chaney?

Ok, maybe that comparison is a bit much but I’m getting goosebumps I haven’t had with a ‘monster’ performance since I saw the original silent version of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. The great Lon Chaney use to transform himself completely into the many villainous roles he played on screen, and my God Heath Ledger looks to have done the same thing with The Joker.

Don’t know how long this will stay up, or how long until we get a quicktime version, but here’s the god damn trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT…

Love the score has stayed the same. Hope it grows with the new movie, as Batman’s persona in Gotham does too.

And what’s that we see at the end. Is that a showdown between Batman on a vehicle and the Joker with a gun?

Haven’t we seen that before…

I will save my full thoughts until we see it in HD quality, but I love what I’m seeing so far. Now catch the trailer quick before it disappears.

  1. Yeah he looks and sounds good as the Joker but we’ve definately seen that before!? Hope that’s not from the finale.
