Hairspray director Adam Shankman has been hired to helm the live action comedy Bedtime Stories for Walt Disney Pictures.

Matt Lopez’s script revolves around a harried architect whose life is turned upside down when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew begin to come true.
Sound familar? How about Night at the Museum or Jumanji?
Shankman’s previous credits include The Pacifier, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Bringing Down the House and The Wedding Planner.
