We reported a few days ago on a rumour which was circulating about the possibility of a split of Grindhouse for the UK. Now it seems the movie has been halted altogether – for the time being at least. Momentum Pictures, who are responsible for distributing the movie, are now telling us…
“We are reviewing the release date and the release plans in the UK. It will definitely be released here but we don’t know in what form.”
The release date had been penned in as June 1st, and just 5 weeks before this date, it has now been put on hold. A new date has not yet been set. It can only mean bad news in terms of the UK getting the full Grindhouse feature, as the delay means they are clearly looking for alternatives.
