Gael Garcia Bernal of The Motorcycle Diaries fame has been offered the role of the lead villain in The Bourne Ultimatum according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The studio have left it rather late to find a bad guy as filming has already started, so expect an official annoucment soon but seemingly it’s Bernal’s role if he wants it.
I do like the sound of Bernal as a villain, I could see him being a great foil for Jason Bourne. The Mexican actor can currently be seen in the awesome looking Michel Gondry film The Science of Sleep which doesn’t open here in the UK till next month on what will probably be a limited release.
