Please, please, please don’t forget Hellboy II: The Golden Army and let it fall in the shuffle this summer because I’m telling ya… Guillermo del Toro is not a director who will cover the same ground again, this one will be more epic and spectacular than the great 2004 original by about ten fold.

Even if you were so-so on the first movie, then give this second flick a chance because I know it will win you over.

The movie opens in the U.S. on July 11th (U.K. in August unfortunately) opposite the Eddie Murphy comedy Meet Dave and the ultimate indicator of what is wrong with Hollywood in the remake of Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser. That’s two potentially HUGE movies and Hellboy is wedged right in their in between Hancock and The Dark Knight.

It would be easy to forget Hellboy II. But PLEASE DON’T - you won’t regret it…

Love the Frank Miller esque pose… Hellboy and Marv from Sin City certainly share some similarities. Can’t wait for this movie!
