Just what devilish scheme are the couple Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter) and Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) coming up with here?
Really can’t wait to see this movie. This is my most anticipated project from Tim Burton since Sleepy Hollow (although I do like Big Fish, it’s just I wasn’t really hyped for it going in) and will hopefully banish the memory of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which Burton and Depp got so very wrong.
Speaking of Depp, you’ve just voted him as the actor who attracts you to the cinema the most out of the list given of the top ten most bankable stars. I can’t argue with that, I voted for him too!
Shouldn’t be too long until we see a trailer. Love the supporting cast in this, I just wish Christopher Lee’s role hadn’t been cut as viscously as Sweeney Todd does to his customers!

So…is this the unofficial sequel to “Edward Scissorhands?” Judging from the pic, I would say it is.
Also, does the entire film take place in that one room????? Every pic I have yet seen shows Depp in that damn room with the slanted wall.
Yeah I think this film will take place in one building, and mostly from his room. I don’t think Todd will leave his barber’s shop much… it will become something of a prison for him.
It’s nothing like Edward Scissorhands. Sweeney Todd isn’t much of a sympathetic character. At least, he shouldn’t be.
