Daybreakers has now been picked up for distribution by Lionsgate but no word on just when in 2008 we will get to see this vampire flick. The movie is still filming right now from the two brothers who brought us the Undead in 2003.
The movie stars Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill and Claudia Karvan in a tale set ten years into the future where a plague has transformed every human into vampires.
The first image from the movie is below. It doesn’t show much and is Sam Neill-less but it does show the kind of attire they expect us to be wearing in a decade’s time. Willem Dafoe looks like he might have de-aged ten years too but I think it’s just the beard.
