The first official images from Matthew Vaughn’s next movie KICK-ASS have turned up online in what is described as our hero’s first act of super heroics as he takes down a bunch of criminals.
Mark Millar’s original comic book series which came out of nowhere earlier this year and thunderbolted into the mainstream with a big movie deal, I believe will be one of the weapons in the arsenal for the Scottish comic book writer’s attempts to convince Warner Bros. that he is the man to handle the Superman franchise.
If KICK-ASS suceeds just like WANTED did earlier this year, Millar is going to suddenly become a very marketable choice for WB.
I’m banking on this movie being killer. Matt Vaughn feels like he has something to prove to Marvel for rejecting his THOR and from what I’ve heard, this comic book series is basically SPIDER-MAN for the 21st century.
KICK-ASS opens in July.
