DISTURBIA was a pretty good movie, with a great leading performance from a young actor by the name of Shia LaBeouf and by the end of it I felt like I got my money’s worth. It was never going to end up on anyone’s list of favourite movies of the year but I think most people would say it was a fun little thriller.
So the director and star are back for EAGLE EYE, another thriller but this time with a little more of a larger scope. Labeouf plays a young slacker and Michelle Monaghan a single mum who by bad luck end up getting themselves involved in a political assassination.
Rosario Dawson and Billy Bob Thornton are also on board as federal agents and The Hollywood Reporter have just announced that Michael Chilkis from The Shield will play the U.S. security of defence.

The movie is set to be wrapped next month and released in theatres in the late Summer.
