Can you believe it’s nearly been two full years since we all saw Revenge of the Sith? Doesn’t time fly!
Ever since May 2005, we have heard George Lucas proclaim such nonsense as “the blockbuster is dead” only to then decide to do another Indiana Jones movie. TV is the future according to Lucas, and over the next few years we are going to see a live action show set between the events of Episode III and IV on our small screens along with another animated series, this time in 3D.
Now I never actually saw an episode of the Clone Wars animated show, but I know it’s got a massive fan base and is spoken of very highly by Star Wars fans. Especially compared with their feelings towards the prequel movies.
StarWars.com found through Film Junk have got the scoop on the first image from the TV show, which is actually a 3D version of Yoda.
Looks really cool actually, but of course it’s the live action show that we are all keeping our eye on.
