We will let them off for what is a lackluster piece of art, everything else associated with this film has been spectacular. Will it be this year’s THE DARK KNIGHT? We will find out in just over a month’s time when it opens worldwide on March 6th.

Guillermo del Toro will be making THE HOBBIT till the best part of 2014. He has attached himself to more projects than he could ever possibly direct, especially with his time spent in Middle-Earth. Those projects include HELLBOY 3, AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS, THE WITCHES, SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIVE and a new FRANKENSTEIN adaptation.

I think it was just a matter of squeezing in all the characters for the final poster. Effective marketing for the people who’ve never read or heard of the GN.
