The WALK HARD advertising campaign is cranking up and it seems that Sony will not stop until Cox is rammed down each and every one of our throats (if they’re willing to milk that joke dry then so can we!).
A new, ruder trailer is online for the film and yet again it’s being positioned as “a Judd Apatow movie”, even though that isn’t quite true.
WALK HARD director Jake Kasdan will likely suffer the same fate as SUPERBAD’s Gregg Mottola and get none of the credit he deserves if his film is a success.
Kasdan is one of the most underrated directors out there and I’m looking forward to seeing another movie from him. It’s just a pity that all the kudos will likely go to one of the most overrated directors in Hollywood (Apatow, in case you didn’t guess) when this rakes in the cash.
