More info from Coming Soon

“The script, written by Jamie Mathieson, follows three social outcasts — two geeks and a cynic — as they attempt to navigate a time-travel conundrum in the middle of a British pub. Faris plays a girl from the future who sets the adventure in motion”.

Brit comedy actors Chris O’Dowd, Marc Wootan and Dean Lennox Kelly will also star.

I’ve spoken on a number of occassions on this site about my lack of faith in the British film industry, I really think it’s in dire straits. The two British movies I have seen this year… Starter For Ten and Confetti were lackluster and in my opinionm no better than the quality of a TV drama.

I think what doesn’t help is that they use the same old comedy actors that are on TV every week and this film is no exception. I like Anna Faris though, she’s not afraid to make fun of herself (great in Lost in Translation) and may make this movie worth watching.

The British do sci-fi better than anybody. Finger’s crossed…
