FANTASTIC FOUR 2 JUST EARNED MY MONEY!

fantastic-four-poster-2.jpgThere’s a great trailer online for the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer which hits theatres June 15th. The trailer is so good, it almost banishes the memory of the first movie.

We see lots more of The Silver Surfer, including a missile attack on him towards the end of the trailer which just looks great. We actually here the guy talk, but his face unfortunately still looks a bit lifeless.

Jessica Alba looks out of place, the switching powers thing with Johnny and The Thing I could do without but apart from that I have no compliments. There looks to be some awesome set pieces, a great new villain and the “end of the world” theme gives the movie a nice little purpose to exist.

Has the trailer done enough to earn your money, even after how bad the first movie was?

I saw the trailer last night on youtube. I was surprised at the look of everything as well. I enjoyed the trailer for the most part, but like you I thought the Johnny and Ben Grimm power switch looked too goofy. I just hope it doesn’t drag out within the plot. Silver Surfer looked and sounded good. And they only showed Doom from the back or under his cloak. I’ve pics of his new armor and it looks good.

You and me both. I think this trailer looks excellent. And funny thing, I also thought Alba didn’t look right.

Jessica Alba is a red flag in my book. If she’s in the movie there’s no reason for me to be in the theater.

I knew the first Fantastic Four movie would be crap jsut because she was in it. I would have cast a rel blonde at least. And someone who looks like a woman instead of a chubby-cheeked ingenue who can’t act.

The bit that clinches it for me is when she is fighting off that aeroplane in that wedding dress. Her acting is a disgrace, does anybody really believe she is fighting it off with those facial expressions?

Jessica Alba is the Kirsten Dunst of the Fantastic Four films.
