Reese WitherspoonJoblo have word that Oscar winner and the world’s highest paid actress Reese Witherspoon will star and produce NICE, a movie adaptation of a Jen Sacks novel published in 1998.

The premise seems pretty simple. Good girl is too nice to break up with any of her boyfriends and after many failed attempts to actually say the words “your dumped”, she actually decides to go kill her current partner. She manages to get away with the deed and well it worked the first time, so she does it again and again and again everytime she wants to break-up.

Maybe Ryan Phillipe got out when the going was good?

A nice change of pace for the squeaky clean Witherspoon and ya know this might not be too bad if they make it quite dark. I would love to see them go in the direction of MR. BROOKS and make it really horrifying and the comedy very very black… rather than the ironic humor I think this will go down.

I fear DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: THE MOVIE here instead of something truly original like AMERICAN PSYCHO (which Reese starred in remember, hence the title of this post). But if they are smart, this could be interesting.
