In celebration of next week’s San Diego Comic-Con, this week’s cover feature of Entertainment Weekly is of the upcoming movie adaptation of the greatest comic book story of all time, Watchmen.
So artistically, it kinda sucks that none of the characters look like they occupy the same space and Dr. Manhatten really doesn’t need to be that big as to cover the title, but I love the lack of emotion that Billy Crudrup brings to this CGI character.
If his character isn’t right, the whole movie is in trouble. But thankfully from the trailers and the images we have seen, we have nothing to worry about on that front.
“The average movie audience has seen so many superhero movies. And some of this stuff is hard to take seriously. I mean, The Hulk? Come on…this makes Superman look stupid.”
