Empire gives us a glimpse at WOLVERINE & THE INCREDIBLE HULK

The latest issue of Empire Magazine have more superhero photo exclusives. This time for two of the biggest Marvel properties set to hit our screens in the next 18 months or so.

First we have Edward Norton getting angry. And you won’t like him when he’s - ah you know…

It’s images like that which make you really question whether he was the right man for the role. Looks really skinny.

I mean I like Ed Norton as much as the next guy, and he’s a fantastic actor and everything but man there’s something about him in this role that doesn’t quite wash isn’t there? Eric Bana was 10 times more suited to the role, even if Norton is the better actor.

Next it’s William Hurt as General “Thunderbolt” Ross. Yeah that’s really William Hurt. I can’t decide whether he looks awesome or just plain weird. I’m really surprised they just didn’t make the character bald, or hey maybe if they just re-cast Sam Elliott everything would have been fine (again I like William Hurt more than Elliott, but not in this role)…

And then Hugh Jackman from the new X-MEN prequel. And boy after four movies they have completely ran out of ideas on how to promote the Wolverine character. Haven’t we seen this pose like a gazillion times?

All that and more in this month’s issue of Empire Magazine, due out in U.K. newsagents this Friday.

  1. I admit, I’d rather have Bana in the role. But, I guess Norton being slim helps with him becoming Hulk, image-wise.

    That’s William Hurt?! Whoa.

And Wolverine… not much to say about it. Does’t give much unlike the first pic where you could see Japanese temple in the back.

  2. Why are they re-making The Hulk again?
