Last week we brought you the suprise news that the 70’s and 80’s low budget “snuff” series Faces of Death were to be remade into a full length feature movie to be written and directed by J.T. Petty. Bloody Disgusting have some quotes from the man himself about the project…..

“It’s a bit early to talk too much about what the movie’s gonna be, but yeah it’ll have a story. I think I’ve got an angle on it that’ll make it really frightening and disorienting, not just gory. But everybody at Rogue and Angry seems committed to making a strange, hard movie. Very exciting.”

Interesting. Not sure how there can be a story when it’s just clips of people comitting suicide or being murdered in various ways… unless of course it’s going to be way different than the original movie series. But then that questions why it’s going to be called Faces of Death and not just a brand new film all together.

Regardless of the plot, this is probably the most controversial movie in production right now.
