Obsessed With Film

Only in movie land of course. It’s lucky Len Wiseman who has his lands all over the British actress but that’s not the story here.

The Hollywood Reporter are carrying the news that David Schwimmer has joined Rod Lurie’s political thriller Nothing but the Truth. In the movie, he will be playing the husband to Kate Beckinsale, who herself is a news journalist who ousts a CIA agent and is actually imprisoned for it.

Matt Dillion, Vera Farmiga, Edie Falco & Alan Alda make up the rest of the cast.

The movie is a welcomed return to the big screen for Schwimmer, who was easily the most talented of the Friends bunch.

Of course if you live in the U.K. like me, you will probably have seen trailers for his directing debut Run, Fat Boy, Run which is almost like some weird Rocky spoof with the unlikely lead Simon Pegg. That movie comes out in the U.K. next month (October, U.S.) and I personally can’t wait for that. Pegg is on fire at the moment but without his usual partners Edgar Wright and Nick Frost, will he be just as funny?
