David Carradine, the star who carried the original B-movie Death Race will cameo for the upcoming Paul W.S. Anderson remake.
Anderson spilled the news to MTV Movies Blog…
“I wanted to tip my hat to the original, but also wouldn’t want it to become a cheesy cameo-fest. There’s obviously been, ‘Oh, where’s the David Carradine cameo?’ It’s there, and I think it’s a nice thing for fans. In fact, I had a conversation with David about the movie this morning.”
My God if that original film isn’t dumb as hell but is made cool by one actor alone, David Carradine… “the best driver on Earth”.
At least we know for a very seconds of the remake, the movie will be cool again.
