It’s been confirmed that Hayden Christensen is to join his fellow Star Wars co-star Samuel L. Jackson in the massive budget ($100 million) thriller “Jumper”. King Kong and Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell has also been cast.
Here is the scoop from coming soon…
“Based on the Steven Gould novel, Jumper follows a young man from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. In his quest for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, the kid draws the attention of the National Security Agency and another youth with the same abilities”.
Christensen will play the young man who can teleport. Jackson plays an NSA agent, while Bell is the jumper who shows Christensen the ropes.
Sounds great to me, I think thriller’s that have been on our movie screens recently have looked extremly poor (”The Sentinel anyone?”). Add in the element of time travel to the mix and as long as the movie doesn’t get lost in its own jibberish dialogue (ala “The Butterfly Effect”), it should turn out to be a lot of fun.

I really liked the Butterfly Effect but can understand why people think it’s just ‘too much’.
First I’ve heard of this new Jumper movie but it sounds promising.

Uh, it has nothing to do with Time Travel.
well teleport is kinda of the same thing i guess.
