Dan Ackroyd says GHOSTBUSTERS 3 aiming for fall shoot

During a recent online chat, Dan Ackroyd claimed that GHOSTBUSTERS 3 could be reving up to shoot as early as this fall…

Script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009.

Said script, as well all know by now, comes from the writers of THE OFFICE and the upcoming Harold Ramis biblical comedy THE YEAR ONE.

With those GHOSTBUSTERS anniversary Blu-Ray’s and that new video game coming out in June… I think everyone expects the movie to be officially announced around then.

I really hope it does begin filming this year because a GHOSTBUSTERS movie that begins shooting after 2010, just sounds odd.

Rumors of this have been floating around for so long…I’ll believe it when I see it in the theaters.

I’d love another Ghostbusters film. I hope they keep it cheesy!

Doh … Ray … Igon!
